Job Functions:
- Solid working knowledge of Open Source projects that enables Cloud and Virtualization technologies primarily Qemu-KVM and VMWare, and knowledge on related Open Source projects (Kubernetes, Docker, Container).
- Openstack administrator in creating, managing users, roles, groups, domains, services, endpoints; managing quotas, instances, snapshots, metadata, creating new images; managing and creating networks, routers, subnets; managing swift objects, cinder volumes; using heat templates and troubleshooting.
- Deploy Cloud solutions using Fuel, Openstack Ansible and manual deployment, and creating/managing multiple tenants in a cloud, creating quotas, triggering alarms when certain thresholds are reached, creating network and creating/customizing heat templates.Work on Software Defined Networking (SDN) and European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) Industry Specification Group for NFV (ETSI ISG NFV) architecture commonly referred to management and orchestration of all resources in a virtualized data center including compute, networking, storage, and virtual machine (VM) resources.Understand the capacity of customer Openstack environment (Compute, storage & Networking) in order to deploy Virtual Network Function manager (VNFM).Work on designing /modeling Multi-layer NFV TOSCA YAML templates such as VNF Descriptors, Network Services Descriptors for cloud applications & virtual network services.
- Familiar with workflow languages such as mistral and commissioning tools like ansible playbooks. On boarding the third-party Virtual Network Functions (VNF’s) in VNFM with respect to third-party Virtual Infrastructure Management (VIM) tenant details.Work on Nokia Cloud Mobility Manager (CMM), built on a cloud-native architecture, provides the web-scale and state-efficient design needed to meet the growing control plane demands of broadband evolution, IoT/ MTC, and the transition to 5G and deployed as a standalone 4G Mobility Management Entity (MME).
- Design and Develop Python code using libraries NumPy, SciPy, SQL Alchemy, Matplotlib, gevent. wsgi, connexion, flask_cors, logging, Beautiful Soup and urllib in various tasks.Development of plugins using Python to orchestrate the VNFs on the south bound devices. Work on the development of plugins using Python to interface with third party VNF manager and SDN controllers the VNFs to manage Life cycle of VNFsDevelop Python code to automate the VNF onboarding by Integrating REST API calls like creation, delete & terminate from Orchestrator to Third party VNF’s .
- Provide consulting and professional services directly to external Customers, setting security, deploy applications into production site, Testing and Customer Acceptance.
- Participate in innovative projects and Proof of Concepts (POC’s) with global operators related to their long-term transformational plans
- Designing effective targeted marketing strategies and assisting Organization in enhancing customer base by reducing customer attrition and attracting new customers.
Min Education:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or Equivalent
